Would you like to get involved with the RHS project? Great!! There are a number of ways you can help out.
1) Share copies of old documents, letters, pictures or pedigrees. Do you have any documents from the early days of the Ragdoll breed? Perhaps you have some correspondence with early breeders tucked away in a drawer. Or maybe a retired Ragdoll breeder shared copies of his/her early pedigrees. Old registration forms, pictures of Ragdolls from the 1970’s, and even early club newsletters….RHS would love to see anything you have!
2) Stories from people who visited Ann Baker and purchased Ragdolls from her or other early breeders. This project isn’t limited to Ragdoll breeders. Did your family have a pet Ragdoll from Ann or another early breeder? Did you go on one of Ann Baker’s paid tours of her Raggedy Ann cattery in Riverside, CA? Please share any photos or documents you might have. Even a short story recounting your experience would be great.
3) Research and write articles. Do you like to research and write articles? There are many opportunities to contribute those talents. Luckily, a number of files and records have survived over the years, but it takes time to review and summarize those files into articles for the RHS site. Please consider helping out.
